Genesis 31:48-50

New American Standard Bible

⁴⁸ Laban said, “^(A)This heap is a witness between ^[a]you and me this day.” Therefore it was named Galeed, ⁴⁹ and ^[b](B)Mizpah, for he said, “May the Lord keep watch between ^[c]you and me when we are ^[d]absent one from the other. ⁵⁰ If you mistreat my daughters, or if you take wives besides my daughters, although no one is with us, see, ^(C)God is witness between ^[e]you and me.”
